DICOM Library - Anonymize, Share, View DICOM files ONLINE

UAB Softneta has launched a new innovative project called DICOM Library. It was partly financed by EU structural funds that allowed the Company to avoid the risk in developing the new product.  DICOM Library is a free online DICOM file sharing service, which is used mainly for educational and scientific purposes.

The DICOM Library is intended for the doctors, radiologists, medical students and other specialists, who are working with studies in DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) format, i. e. DICOM files, DICOM images and similar data. Users have a possibility to share medical DICOM images with their colleagues easily and quickly.

DICOM Library allows the users to easily upload, view and share the DICOM files, as well as to delete them from the library. You may review your study through the Web based Dicom viewer – MedDream. By using Web DICOM viewer it is possible to zoom, move, change contrast, make measurements and make other study related actions. You may upload not only one file but also the whole study or even series of studies that should be compressed into zip format.

All DICOM files are anonymized before they are uploaded into the library, therefore, no personal information about the patient or the doctor will be revealed. Moreover, you can use the provided DICOM Library's links of the anonymized DICOM images in various research forums; share them with other doctors or students for asking an advice or diagnosis, etc.

What is more, you may share your files in the most popular social networks as Facebook, Twitter, etc. or just send them by e-mail. This possibility creates an easy communication between the users.

This project will contribute to better studies understanding and communication between the specialists in medical area.
